An accomplished Chicago entrepreneur, John M. Fife founded Chicago Venture Partners in 1998 as principal investor and managing partner; he currently leads the firm in managing more than $150 million in assets. Under John M. Fife’s leadership, the firm focuses mainly on loans with small capitalization public companies and operates several privately held companies.

Mr. Fife holds a bachelor of science in computer science and statistics from Brigham Young University and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School. In addition to his roles with Chicago Venture Partners, he has spent the past 24 years as president, chairman, and CEO of Utah Resources International, a provider of real estate development and management services in St. George, Utah.

Charitably minded, Mr. Fife has made significant donations to the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association and funded a dedication ceremony to honor his father, who was involved with the organization for two decades. He also operates the charitable organization Emerging Artists Chicago.
